It happens all the time–I talk about how our country could be doing better for working people, and a rightwing MAGA supporter tells me to go back to Pakistan if I don't like it here in the US.

Here's my controversial opinion: I love my country, and I want it to make it better. My campaign for Congress in IL-11 is about economic, climate, and social justice. It's also about representation, because representation matters.

The United States has never elected a Pakistani American to Congress. How amazing a rebuke to MAGA bigotry would it be if Americans stood United for justice and helped me make history?
