This past weekend, we held a campaign meet and greet in the Antelope Valley. These leaders are stepping up to help us flip CA-27 from red to blue, and with less than a year until Election Day, I am inspired by their action.
In mid-October, I met with the hard working folks at the Ironworkers training center. Apprenticeship programs like these are crucial to making sure we have good local jobs in CA-27, and I look forward to supporting programs like this one from Congress.
We are keeping focus on meeting voters -- I was proud to do so at recent local events like the CA-27 Day of Action, SALVA’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration, and house parties. It will truly take all of us to flip this seat and bring the leadership we deserve to Congress, and I am proud to continue listening to voters in every corner of this district.
In case you missed it: Late last month, I won the pre-endorsement from the California Democratic Party with over 95% of the delegate support. We also received recent endorsements from Rep. Robert Garcia, Rep. Salud Carbajal, the Southern California Armenian Democrats, and the Asian Democrats of Los Angeles.
I am honored to receive such diverse support from representatives, organizations, and community leaders alike as we continue our community-centered campaign to defeat far-right Rep. Mike Garcia.
