Patriot,

Last month, thousands upon thousands of Campaign for Liberty
supporters like you signed petitions to Congress demanding they
leave FISA Section 702 to expire at the end of this year.

Section 702 is the unconstitutional warrantless surveillance law
the Deep State has used to illegally spy on millions of American
citizens for years.

But now, the Deep State is exploiting the war in Israel and Gaza
as a pretext to push for its renewal, even though it has nothing
to do with it.

Last week for example, one Deep State official claimed, "as
evidenced by the events of the past month, the terrorist threat
is highly dynamic" and repeatedly invoked Hamas' attack on Israel
in a Senate briefing to demand Section 702 be renewed.

Never mind these same Deep State goons claim all intelligence
utterly failed to detect the planned attacks in Israel on October
7!

Republicans in the House declared Section 702 renewal "dead on
arrival" not so long ago, but now they're pushing a supposedly
"short term" extension of the unconstitutional surveillance law,
saying they need a "Plan B" approach given the end-of-year
deadline.

Patriot, this is just another example of the Surveillance State
pointing to its own failures as an excuse to demand more
authority over you and me.

But now the fever of "fighting terrorism" is back in vogue in
Washington, so we need to demand louder than ever before that
they shut down their unconstitutional mass surveillance program.

Remember: they've used Section 702 to concoct bogus
investigations against politicians, against pro-life and anti-war
activists, and even persecuted parents concerned about what's
happening in our schools.

As Biden Administration officials have openly stated, they view
"white supremacy" (their term to denigrate political activism) as
the number one threat.

The reason the Deep State is so bad at foiling terrorist plots
isn't because they don't have enough tools to illegally spy on
the American people. It's because they're so busy illegally
spying on the American people, fighting actual terrorism isn't
even a priority!

The FBI abused the "Section 702 Database" under FISA to spy on
Americans over THREE MILLION times in just one year . . . and it
wasn't to spy on Hamas.

It was to spy on you.

Section 702 has been abused to illegally spy on law-abiding
Americans without a warrant and even use the unconstitutionally
collected data in criminal proceedings against them.

Don't be fooled by any nonsense about a "temporary" or
"short-term" extension - we all know these programs never end,
unless We, the People, force them to.

But now we must expect weak-kneed Republicans to buckle out of
fear of being seen as not doing enough to fight terror. They need
to know you are not fooled by the Surveillance State's pretexts.

That's why it's so critical you contact Congress right now and
DEMAND they leave Section 702 to die!

The fact is, the Deep State is hell-bent on collecting every
American's emails, phone records, text messages, Internet
searches, instant messages, online purchases, and social media
posts.

As admitted in the news, the NSA "deliberately ignored
restrictions on their authority to spy on Americans multiple
times in the past decade."

All of their nonsense about "fighting terrorism" is even more
absurd than ever, since they're now talking about terrorism in
foreign countries, not the United States.

It's a pathetic pretext, but unless YOU take action to contact
your lawmakers, I'm concerned it will sink in. Contact your
lawmakers right now!

As always, we redact your email address in communications to
Congress, and we never share your information with anyone else.

Take just one moment to contact your lawmakers, even if you
already have in the past, because the political environment in
Washington has changed since then.

And if you can, please also make a contribution of $100, $50,
$25, $10, or whatever you can afford to help us inform and
mobilize more patriots for this fight.

The elitists - elected and unelected - have run roughshod over
we, the people, for far too long. You and I must demand full
accountability.

With your help, Campaign for Liberty can activate more
liberty-minded Americans to fight back against the Surveillance
State - and demand those who lied to the American people about it
are held accountable.

You and I must keep the pressure on Congress to disregard the
lies and simply refuse to renew this unconstitutional, odious
surveillance scheme.

Thanks for all you do for Liberty,

John McCardell

Executive Director
Campaign for Liberty

P.S. It only takes a moment to sign your petition and we will

At this point, you and I simply cannot trust the Surveillance
State.

If you and I turn up enough heat on Congress to stop
reauthorization, I'm convinced we can bring the statists'
domestic spying programs to a crashing halt.

That's why I'm counting on you to please send your STOP THE
SURVEILLANCE STATE directive and make a contribution of $10, $25,
$50, $100, or more TODAY!
