Caring for Creation: Water Quality
Dr. Chris Jones, a long-time water quality research engineer at Iowa University, will be sharing his insights and expertise with the residents of Missouri during two events: Nov. 16 in Columbia at the Missouri United Methodist Church, 204 S. 9th St., and Nov. 17, in Springfield, at the Judy Thompson Executive Conference Center on the campus of Drury University, 609 Bob Barker Blvd. Both events, set to begin at 6 p.m., will feature engaging panel discussions. Jones’s Springfield visit was initiated by Cheryl Marcum, a United Methodist Earth Keeper in Stockton.

McKendree Chapel Featured in Missouri Times
A recent donation has provided significant records on the oldest standing Protestant church west of the Mississippi River. Housed at the Cape Girardeau Research Center, the records document the history, operations, and restoration of McKendree Chapel, built in Jackson, Missouri, in 1819. Support Solar for UMC Parsonages in Mozambique
This year for Giving Tuesday the Mozambique Initiative is connecting UMC parsonages in Mozambique to electricity. Access to electricity enables children to complete their homework in the evening and pastors to continue their work and worship preparation after the sun sets, among other benefits. Learn more about how you can help provide electricity to pastors in Mozambique at [link removed] [link removed].
