What you will be doing: As a Strategy and Performance Consultant, your primary role will be to collaborate with agency leaders and teams to drive positive results for the Department of Enterprise Services (DES) and its diverse customer base in Washington state. You will work closely with division directors, managers, supervisors, and employees throughout the agency, providing expert consultation, facilitation, and coaching to enhance their strategic planning and performance. You will act as a trusted advisor, applying your business acumen at all levels of the organization to solve problems, manage change, develop leaders, and help teams reach their measures of success.
Who you are: You are technically proficient, and have the interpersonal skills to influence others. You can cut through the noise in ambiguous situations, recognize what's most important and identify improvement opportunities that align with agency strategy. You are self-aware, emotionally balanced, collaborative, and can communicate well at all levels of the organization. You are flexible and able to adjust and adapt change with different client and project needs. You can see the big picture, but are able to engage with details as well. You are flexible with your schedule and are able to adjust to the project needs. You are skilled at developing learning and growth, not only with your customers, but have an initiative for your own continuous development.
