This Saturday at 9:00 a.m., I?m hosting a community coffee hour for our Apple Valley neighbors at Dunn Bros (15265 Galaxie Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124). I'd love to hear from you and hope to see you there.

November 11th also marks Veterans Day. This year at the legislature, we prioritized a variety of important investments for our veterans in our state budget. A few of these measures included increasing veterans' service bonuses, increasing funding to help veterans experiencing homelessness, expanding Meals on Wheels eligibility, and more. It's the least we can do for the men and women who wear the uniform and protect our freedom and democracy every day.
It was special to spend a brief time in Washington D.C. recently to support my wife and son-in-law, who serves in the U.S. Army, when they both ran in the Marine Corps Marathon.
If you?ve served, thank you for your brave service. It?s an honor to represent you and our Apple Valley neighbors at the State Capitol.
