We’re suing the EPA for going easy on factory farm pollution
Did you know that we have lawyers fighting in courts across the country for your safe food and clean water?
For more than 50 years, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has neglected to regulate factory farm pollution, allowing the industry to freely pollute your waterways and threaten your drinking water. After denying our petition urging the agency to strengthen its factory farm water pollution regulations, we filed a lawsuit to ensure we see much needed change to address the mounting factory farm pollution crisis.
Your generosity beat the big fracked gas power plant in Woodbridge, New Jersey!
In a community already burdened with poor health caused by existing gas plants, the fossil fuel giant Competitive Power Ventures wanted to build a new fracked-gas power plant. Through organizing with community residents and local social justice groups, our New Jersey organizing team successfully opposed the project. When we organize, we win! Check out this article featuring a quote from Food & Water Watch organizer, Charlie Kratovil who led this successful campaign.
