In case you missed it, last night, NBC News hosted the third televised presidential debate of the primary election in Miami, Florida. Six candidates qualified to join the debate; five joined the stage.

When asked about the abortion issue in response to significant election losses [[link removed]] nationwide this week, here’s what they said:

Governor Ron DeSantis affirmed his pro-life beliefs and mentioned the lack of morality in the democrat refusal to place a reasonable protection on abortion.

“I stand for a culture of life.”

“We’re better off when everybody counts.”

Ambassador Nikki Haley clearly expressed she would sign any bill that could get 60 votes in Congress and called for reasonable limits on abortion and more support for mothers and their babies.

“I would support anything that would pass because that would save babies.”

She says she wants to limit late-term abortions, encourage adoption, increase contraceptives, and continue to ensure no abortion laws are putting moms in jail.

“...save as many babies and support as many moms…”

Senator Tim Scott referred to his 100% pro-life voting record. He called for a 15-week federal limit on abortion and promoted his Parents Plan to increase resources to pregnancy care centers and encourage adoption.

Vivek Ramaswamy did not give a clear position but called for sexual responsibility for men and stated, “It’s not men’s or women’s rights, it’s human rights.”

Governor Chris Christie implied he would not support a federal ban, saying it should be decided state-by-state. The governor mentioned his state of New Jersey allows abortion until birth, and though he finds it “morally reprehensible, [it’s] what the people voted for.” He went on to agree with Senator Scott’s statement that we need to be pro-life for the whole life.
