Team, Americans want to protect access to reproductive freedom. Plain and simple.

We know this because voters overwhelmingly passed Issue 1 in Ohio to protect reproductive freedom and the right to an abortion, just like Michigan voters did by passing Proposal 3 in Michigan last year.

But Republican lawmakers aren’t stopping their assault on abortion rights.

A group of Republican lawmakers and national extremist anti-abortion groups filed a lawsuit to try and undermine Michigan voters by overturning Proposal 3, the Reproductive Freedom for All Act, which codifies reproductive freedom in our state’s constitution.

We need to stand together to fight back. Chip in today to fuel our work to defeat extremist Republicans at the ballot box in 2024.

This is not only an attack on reproductive freedom, but it is an attack on our very democracy.

Voters used their constitutional right to direct democracy to put Proposal 3 on the ballot for Michigan voters to decide. Now, extremist Republicans are trying to undo the will of the people.

Democrats are already stepping up to fight back. This week, Michigan Democrats sent the Reproductive Health Act to the Governor’s desk to further strengthen abortion rights and access in Michigan. Together, we need to make sure Michigan Democrats can continue fighting for reproductive freedom in Lansing.

Will you rush a contribution today to fuel the Michigan Democratic Party’s work as we prepare to defeat anti-abortion Republicans in 2024 and reelect Michigan Democrats who have proven time and time again that they are willing to stand up to protect reproductive freedom in Michigan?
