After a sweeping victory like we witnessed on Tuesday, we know that this community’s support is behind Monica. We’ve seen it firsthand.
Hi team,
We’re overjoyed that Monica made history on Tuesday by becoming the first-ever Black woman elected to the San Diego County Board of Supervisors!
This was a hard fought campaign — but with a decisive victory, we wouldn’t change a thing.
With over 30,000 phone calls made, 10,000 doors knocked, and more than 100,000 text messages sent — our volunteers worked tirelessly to bring Monica’s vision for San Diego County to the voters.
We would not have been able to do what we did without them and without the hard work of our many partners, vendors, and hard working staff.
After a sweeping victory like we witnessed on Tuesday, we know that this community’s support is behind Monica. We’ve seen it firsthand.
And now Monica has a mandate to take her People-centered vision for governing to the County where she will be a tireless champion for working families and stand up against the growing tide of right-wing extremism.
Born and raised in San Diego, Monica Montgomery Steppe is an HBCU graduate, and an attorney by trade. Monica believes in her heart that the neighborhoods and community members are vibrant and worthy of care and investment. She is running for Board of Supervisors, District Four.
