Team,
After striking for nearly 50 days, United Auto Workers won big victories in their new contracts with the Big Three automakers.
I couldn't be prouder of these workers and their determination to organize for what they deserve. And I'm especially proud to have stood with them since Day 1.
Friend, my father worked at Toledo Jeep. My mother helped organize the first union at Champion Spark Plug. I've fought for unions and working people my entire career.
At a time when corporations are making record profits and CEO pay is higher than ever before, working people deserve living wages, healthcare, safe workplaces, and the ability to live and retire with dignity. That's what we're fighting for, and these new contracts are a big step forward.
As long as I have a voice, I'll use it to stand up for working people, friend. That's a promise.
Chip in
Onward,
— Marcy
