Over 13 years ago, the Supreme Court decided Citizens United v. FEC in a case that would forever impact our elections and democracy.

Shady outside interests now have an outsized influence on elections simply because they have the most money. Because of the Citizens United decision, megamillionaires, billionaires, and special interests can spend practically whatever they want to influence voters.

Wisconsin’s Senate race is a prime example of just that — with megamillionaire Eric Hovde willing to spend tens of millions of his own personal fortune to tilt the scales and flip this seat red.

As a vocal supporter of overturning Citizens United and getting shady special interests out of our elections, I’m no stranger to being up against outside money. Special interest groups have made me one of their top targets to unseat.

But no amount of money spent to defeat me will keep me silent on this issue, and I’m counting on you to join me in speaking out:
