On Tuesday, as Americans went to the polls to cast their ballots in states with voter ID laws, thousands were turned away because they didn’t have an acceptable form of ID. That’s on top of the people who stayed home because they were confused about voter ID laws, or were afraid of being intimidated or shamed.

You can help those voters before next year’s presidential election! VoteRiders is looking for detail-oriented volunteers who have 1-3 hours a week to spend helping eligible voters get the ID they need to vote on Election Day.

It can be challenging getting a photo ID, especially without reliable transportation or disposable income. VoteRiders Voter ID Assistance Volunteers help voters make appointments, secure transportation, locate documents, and navigate challenging bureaucracy.

Our Super Volunteers truly make a difference — this is how we ensure that all eligible voters can get the voter ID they need before presidential elections in 2024.

This opportunity is open to anyone who is interested, but we particularly need volunteers in key communities where VoteRiders has staff on the ground including Ohio, Houston TX, Columbus GA, Atlanta GA, Pittsburgh PA, Orlando FL, Charlotte NC, Madison WI, and Milwaukee WI. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, computer savvy, passionate about people, and ready to get more involved this training is for you!
