It was great to see President Biden back home in Delaware to showcase the more than $16 billion in federal investments for Delaware railways and the Northeast Corridor.

This historic investment is a direct result of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that was passed with the help of our Democratic congressional delegation, Senators Carper and Coons and Representative Lisa Blunt-Rochester, and signed into law by President Biden nearly two years ago.

During the President’s remarks, I was reminded of the nightly Amtrak commute he took from Washington, D.C., to his home in Wilmington to tuck his kids in bed when he served in the U.S. Senate. Now, as President, he’s achieved what so many of his predecessors were unable to and secure billions of dollars in infrastructure funding across the nation.

These are the types of investments we can make when we elect Democrats. 

We know what can happen when Democrats have strong majorities, and we’ve got to make sure Delaware is always a state that Joe Biden and the Democrats can count on. If you are able, please pitch in to help us strengthen our party and solidify our commitment that Delaware is for Democrats!
