Dear John,

Our campaign for Supreme Court term limits just hit an important milestone: the U.S. Senate. Lawmakers in both chambers of Congress have now introduced legislation that would implement 18-year term limits for Supreme Court justices. It’s taken a lot of work to get to this stage — and supporters like you played a key role. As of today, there have been:

69,690 messages sent to Congress by supporters like you demanding action

7.43 million impressions of our ads building public support for term limits

52 billboards and bus shelters near Capitol Hill featuring calls for term limits

Our public awareness campaign is working. Now, we need to increase the pressure for reform and show members of Congress that we want them to pass these bills. John, will you take a minute to call your Senator now? We’ll provide talking points for your call. >>

The Supreme Court just came back from a long recess. While the justices were away, we learned of more lavish, undisclosed gifts from billionaires. And as the Court begins a new term, the conservative supermajority has signaled that they plan to take aim at the regulators who hold big corporations accountable and keep us safe. Their decisions could neuter climate policies, labor protections, and even food safety rules.

Public trust in the Supreme Court is at historic lows – it’s time for term limits. There’s bi-partisan support from the American people. And now, there’s legislation that we can rally behind.

Elected officials pay attention to which issues their voters are dialing their office about. Please take a moment to make a call in support of Supreme Court term limits legislation:
