My friend,

I can’t count the number of times folks have walked up to me and talked about how scared they are of losing their health care. Or not being able to afford putting food on the table or even their kid’s college tuition.

Even though my name will be on the ballot in November, this race isn’t about me. It’s about folks like you. It’s about creating a future where no one lives in fear of getting sick because it could drive them into bankruptcy or going to college because it would saddle them with debt.

I hate asking you to pitch in, I really do. I know how hard you work for every dollar.

But I want you to know that every time I ask for your help, it’s because we need every dollar we can muster to build the kind of grassroots campaign that can knock out the wealthy donors and corporations trying to swing this election and stack the deck against everyday Americans.
