Last night, Debbie and I were humbled to take the stage to officially accept the nomination for Governor of Mississippi.

We want to thank you for all of the work you’ve done to get us to this point. Your support has been crucial to our campaign’s success, and I mean it when I say we wouldn’t have been able to do it without you.

And now, as we kick off the general election, we can’t slow down. Will you make a donation today to help us start the general election campaign strong?

Our opposition remains locked in a bitter runoff. But while they’re mudslinging, I’m turning my attention to the issues that really matter: Expanding health care, repairing our infrastructure, investing in our public schools and teachers, and cleaning up our state government.

I’ll never stop fighting for Mississippi families, but that won’t stop our opposition from dragging my name through the mud. The end of the primary just means that I’ve become a bigger target, and the attacks are going to come stronger and faster than ever.
