This month's news and updates from Arlington Community Foundation.   ABOUT US | STAFF & BOARD   The 4th annual Nonprofit Wish Catalog is now open! Browse and support the year-end needs of 30+ Arlington nonprofits in one easy place. Thanks to the incredible support from our community, the Wish Catalog raised over $300,000 for Arlington organizations in its first three years! This year's Catalog features many smaller-budget Arlington nonprofits, so we encourage you to use the Catalog to get to know them and financially support them if you are able. Whether it's rainy day gifts for cancer patients, bilingual culinary workforce development, or dental treatments for seniors, supporting these year-end wishes is a chance to show our dedicated local nonprofits - and the people they serve - that we see them, and we are here for them. Shop & Share the Nonprofit Wish Catalog The Honorable William T. Newman, Jr. to keynote the 30th annual Spirit of Community Awards It's not too late to save your seat at the event! Judge Newman is the founder and president emeritus of Arlington Community Foundation. In 1993, Arlington Community Foundation awarded the first Spirit of Community Award to the late Joan Cooper. Named in honor of Judge Newman, the award was established to recognize individuals and organizations who have demonstrated a tireless and unselfish commitment to improving the quality of life in Arlington. On November 17, as hundreds gather for the 30th annual Award, Judge Newman will deliver remarks on Arlington's past, present, and vision for the future. The event is almost sold out, but it's not too late to save your seat and be in the room for this uplifting community event.
