Dear John,
If you have been a long-time subscriber to our emails, you have heard us talk about Economic Freedom.
The ability of individuals to make their own economic decisions about what to buy, where to work, and whether to start a business remains fundamental to prosperity.
The Fraser Institute's annual publication, Economic Freedom of North America, was released today. It analyzes economic freedom in all 50 U.S. states, 32 Mexican states, and 10 Canadian provinces.
It finds that – once again – every province in Canada now resides in the lower half of the rankings.
Alberta is now the highest-ranking Canadian province: tied for 31st place.
See where the other provinces are placed here, and be sure to share this news with your friends and colleagues.
Sincerely,
Niels Veldhuis
President
The Fraser Institute
