As a national alliance composed of environmental justice communities based in the United States, the Climate Justice Alliance has always stood against imperialism, colonization, and oppression. This includes opposing all forms of violence, war, and genocide.
At this pivotal moment in history, we are calling on the larger progressive community, our allies and especially those who support environmental justice and communities hit first and worst by the climate crisis, to come together and join us in supporting an immediate end to the violence by publicly demanding a ceasefire within the region and an end to aid being funneled to Israel via US taxpayer dollars.
Your support of this pledge will help us demonstrate that the majority of those fighting for a greener future are also on the side of sensible and humane policy when it comes to war and collective punishment, which has already cost over ten thousand lives and leaves in its wake an enormous amount of pollution, destroyed land, and a toxic environment.
