John,

I had the honor of joining MSNBC to discuss Ohio’s win on reproductive rights, and I wanted to share the interview with you.

I am thrilled! On Tuesday, Ohioans showed up to pass Issue 1 and, in doing so, enshrined abortion rights in the state constitution. I would be remiss if I didn’t thank the volunteers and voters who worked tirelessly to secure this victory.

We are now on a path to end the extreme abortion ban that had no exceptions for rape or incest. This win will not only protect abortion but will also let us continue to have access to birth control and will give doctors the ability to provide emergency care in the case of a miscarriage without fear of being criminalized or government interference.

Looking towards 2024, we know abortion is a winning issue for Democrats.

We have an uphill battle ahead of us, but momentum is on our side. Voters want their rights protected, and to ensure that happens, we must first defend my seat, flip the House blue, maintain control of the Senate, and secure the presidency. But we need your help.

Ohio will be the key to gaining a Democratic-led House and Senate. Will you help us prepare for 2024 by rushing $5 or more immediately?
