In September, Adelphoi Western Region signed a $73 million contract with Allegheny County to hold arrested youth at the Shuman Juvenile Detention Center.   

Just days after the contract was signed, two civil lawsuits were filed accusing Adelphoi affiliates of failing to protect children from abuse. ⬇️
