Last night, Kentucky made a choice. A choice not to move to the right or to the left, but to move forward for all our families.

The people of Kentucky have spoken, and I'm honored to have the opportunity to serve this Commonwealth for another four years! The future is bright, and it's all thanks to you.

But this wasn’t my win. This was our victory. It was a victory that sends a loud, clear message: that anger politics should end right here and right now.

Last night's results are a testament to the countless hours of work, the thousands of volunteers, and the strength of this people-powered campaign. Kentuckians took to the polls to put politics behind us, end partisan fighting, and come together to create a brighter future.

This election shows who we are as Kentuckians. We’re proud people who take care of each other. We believe in the golden rule that says we love our neighbor as ourselves. And the parable of the good Samaritan says that we’re all each other’s neighbors – no exceptions.

Kentuckians understand that our shared values are stronger than anything that could ever pull us apart. And this win is a victory for every single Kentuckian who wants a safe and prosperous life for their family and their community members. We have come so far, and together, we are unstoppable.

I love this commonwealth. I’m going to work as hard as I can for every one of you. From the Beshear family to all of our Kentucky families— thank you, we love you.
