Folks, for the past two decades, Republicans have been enacting a quiet plot to seize control of our judicial system, all the way up to the Supreme Court.

They’ve put hundreds of loyal right-wing judges on the federal bench. And in turn, those judges help the GOP undermine the will of the majority of Americans.

Special interest groups and their Republican cronies weaponize their handpicked judges to squash legislation they oppose, crush regulations, and dismantle hard-won progress on everything from gun reform to reproductive rights to climate action.

Let’s not mince words: This is a slow-moving coup. It’s a concerted effort to subvert the results of elections and stifle progress for decades to come.

That’s why I proposed a bill which would create a brand-new court to handle most cases involving the federal government, made up of 13 justices selected randomly from across the nation – a court that would prioritize integrity and impartiality, not political favors.
