Any farmer in Iowa will tell you that good, well tended soil will lead to bountiful, quality harvests.

The same principle applies to a country on the whole. If a society is rooted in poor soil: tax cuts, budget cuts, a lack of investments, dark money, it will lead to a low quality harvest of poverty, economic inequality and social strife.

If elected, I will work to plant the roots of our country in good soil. In soil made up of investments in education, healthcare, childcare as well as strong unions and a living wage.
