John, the chaos created by Republicans these past few weeks is unprecedented. Now, their new Speaker of the House will only make it worse.
 

Here are Speaker Johnson’s priorities: A total abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or life of a woman Punish doctors who provide reproductive care to patients Raise the retirement age Deny seniors their hard-earned benefits from Social Security and Medicare Discriminating against the LGBTQ+ community including passing a national “Don’t Say Gay” bill

He is their Speaker because that’s what the GOP believes in. It’s not about helping people. It’s about an extreme agenda hell bent on further dividing us.

This is not the America we envision for our children and grandchildren. We have just under one year this week to work hard and take back the US House to put people over politics once again. If yesterday's election victories across the country showed us anything, it's that 2024 is winnable if we keep working for it.
