John,
One year ago today, you made your voices heard.
People all over Maryland put their faith in the son of an immigrant, a graduate of a two-year college, and a US Army combat veteran who had never run for office before. You knew that we could be bolder, that we could move faster.
And we have. Since coming into office, we’ve expanded abortion access, increased the minimum wage, kicked off our service-year option, fought for Marylanders and their families, and so much more.
I am forever grateful for your faith in us and in our mission to leave no one behind.
There is still more work to do — we’re fighting every day to make Maryland the best state in the country to live and work.
Yesterday, voters overwhelmingly rejected extremist agendas across the country. Now it is up to us to work twice as hard to pass policies that align with the values of our constituents. It is what we were elected to do.
The work continues, but know our north star will be always you, the people of Maryland.
I am proud to serve as your governor. Thank you.
Elevate,
Wes Moore
P.S. I need your help to get ahead of the upcoming fundraising freeze in January. Will you chip in now to help us build a better Maryland? [[link removed]]
