As we inch closer to the 2024 election, one thing is clear: the MAGA party is desperately trying to find an extremist who can beat our grassroots movement. Conservative donors are throwing money at my opponents to see if anything will stick!
Jason Ickes, the lead plaintiff in the 2020 election challenge, is running, hoping to bring more chaos and extremism to Congress! (Are we still dealing with this?)
Self-funded "disruptor" Michael Markey announced his candidacy to challenge me in MI-03! (Remember, we already disrupted the status quo by electing the first woman to represent our district in Congress!)
Paul Hudson, a Devos-backed Republican with no local ties, aims to impose his conservative ideals on West Michigan! (Seriously, he already lost the statewide supreme court election. How many times does Michigan have to say no to his extreme views?)
The most recent addition to the race is Allen Fiorletta, an attorney who is attacking his Republican opponents. The entire Republican field is playing politics. (Someone should tell them that when you’re actually governing, there is no time for games.)
We must act to safeguard my seat in this upcoming election! West Michigan deserves a representative who will prioritize West Michiganders over their conservative donors.
