I hate to be saying this again, but we are 10 days away from another potential government shutdown.

After dragging us through weeks of chaos and uncertainty, Mike Johnson still has no plan for funding the government. Republicans don’t care about keeping the government open, they just want to exploit our divisions for cynical, personal and political gain.

As we approach – yet another – potential Republican forced government shutdown, I need to hear from you, which effects are you most concerned about:

Government shutdowns are no joke. Republicans using them as a political strategy puts Americans at risk.

Thousands of seniors and students would lose access to critical nutrition programs; students would lose access to student aid, loan programs and Head Start programs; flights could be delayed across the country; food safety and waste site inspections would halt; military members would be forced to work without pay; federal employees could miss paychecks and so much more.

Mike Johnson is putting his extreme MAGA agenda ahead of the American people. Republicans wanted a conservative leader who would put their extremist agenda first - and they got it with Mike Johnson.

I am fighting back and pushing to keep our government open, but I need to hear from you. What effects of this potential Republican-led government shutdown are you most concerned about?
