Today is STEM Day. In November we observe Aviation History Month, Diabetes Month, and Family Caregivers Month. The 2023 Atlantic and Pacific Hurricane Seasons end November 30.

National STEM Day: November 8

The American Community Survey estimates 10.8M Americans 16+ were employed in STEM occupations in 2021, 26.7% were women who earned 84.1% as much as men.?

National Aviation History Month: November

The M3 Survey reports the 2022 seasonally adjusted value of shipments of U.S. total defense aircraft and parts was $54.5 billion. Nondefense was $117.3 billion.

National Diabetes Month: November

The County Business Patterns program in 2021 counted 8,440 U.S. kidney dialysis centers with 131,953 paid employees and a $7.6 billion annual payroll.

National Family Caregivers Month: November

In 2022, there were 764,521 U.S. personal care aides, 391,950 child care workers and 261,817 home health aides, according to the American Community Survey.

2023 Pacific Hurricane Season: May 15-November 30
