John, Chris Deluzio said I could reach out to give the good news: Last night, voters across Ohio passed Issue 1, enshrining reproductive freedom in our state constitution.

This is an incredible victory for abortion access and the fight to ensure that these deeply personal healthcare decisions are made by women and their doctors.

John, it goes without saying that the other side counted us out. Extremist politicians plotted to write confusing ballot language, and dark money special interest groups spent millions to mislead voters. But thanks to millions of grassroots volunteers and working folks who came together to fight for freedom, we won.

While this moment is a cause for celebration, we can’t afford to take our foot off the gas. Where you live should not determine how free you are, which is why it’s critical that we begin to build up the resources we need to take back the House Majority and codify Roe, once and for all.
