Last week, I joined Border Patrol agents for a midnight patrol in the Rio Grande Valley.
As detailed in a write-up published by The Daily Signal, we encountered a horrifying situation, when we came in contact with a group of roughly 20 illegal aliens who’d turned themselves into Border Patrol.
They were mainly women and children – and when I asked them about the violence they’d faced on their travel to the border, words could not fully convey the look I saw on these kids’ faces.
One was a 10-year-old girl with a man who said he was her father. But it was obvious to anyone who’s ever seen a father and daughter that these two were not related.
I have a simple message for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and every Democrat senator:
Come down to the border, come out on a midnight patrol, and look in the eyes of these innocent children who are suffering due to the Biden administration’s inhumane policies.
My Republican colleagues and I have introduced multiple pieces of legislation to prevent migrants from entering our country illegally – but none of it will ever work while we have a president who defies the law.
The Biden Border Crisis is a national security and humanitarian DISASTER. Rest assured, I will not relent in the fight to fix this mess and hold the Biden administration accountable.
