We wanted to make sure you saw Kelly’s message last night, team.
Ohio is now the second state, after Michigan, where a citizen-initiated ballot measure was used to proactively defend reproductive rights since Roe v. Wade was overturned in July 2022.
Every state where an abortion question has been on the ballot since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, abortion rights have WON!
The people of Ohio made their voices heard: Our reproductive rights are non-negotiable.
Before the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, we never even dreamed that ballot measures would become the most vital and likely way for us to preserve every American’s reproductive freedom. Now, we’ve secured THREE victories to defend the right to choose.
This win proves again that voters in blue, purple, and red states all agree: Politicians shouldn’t have the last say on what decisions we make with our bodies — we will.
Thank you, team. This historic triumph is a testament to the grassroots movement you’ve empowered with your unwavering dedication. Knowing we have you on our team fuels our confidence to prevail in ballot measures across the United States, championing and amplifying the rights of all Americans.
Let's celebrate this victory, and get ready for the battles ahead.
