The New Orleans Tribune is the first African American daily newspaper and a notable archive of the fight for equality by those who experienced it firsthand. Printed in both French and English to reach every Louisianan, it has tackled the issues facing the Black community, including city accommodations, politics, and racial progress for over 150 years! This hallowed and historic publication stood at the forefront of the American Civil War and early years of Reconstruction to support the aspirations of Louisiana’s Black community, and we thank them for their glowing endorsement.

The New Orleans Tribune’s endorsement of Lindsey highlights her dedication to fighting for ALL people in and of Louisiana. If the people of Louisiana are being targeted by bad actors, it’s the Attorney General’s job to hold them accountable — and Lindsey is more than willing to step into the ring.
