As of this week, we are officially one year out from the 2024 elections. Coming out of yesterday's election with positive news for Democrats, it's never been more crucial to get all hands on deck to take back the House majority and re-elect President Biden.

We already came dangerously close to a government shutdown this year, and the November 17th deadline is quickly approaching. House Republicans burned through WEEKS fighting to elect a Speaker, and the man they were finally able to rally around is an anti-abortion, anti-LGBTQ+ rights, climate change denying MAGA extremist. They will NEVER be serious about governing.

The American people demand a House majority that can actually govern. They’re sick of the dysfunction and one year from now, we must remember this chaos when casting our votes.

Last night was clear evidence that even in the face of MAGA millions and extremist candidates, change can happen when we all come together for the America we want.

In Ohio , the people cast their vote to enshrine reproductive rights into law. In Kentucky , a deep red state, Democrat Gov. Andy Beshear delivered a win in counties that were carried by Donald Trump in the 2020 election. And in Virginia , Democrats took the state House and held the state Senate majority. The American people have once again spoken, and I am excited to keep the momentum going.
