Friends,
As the dust is settling on another municipal election cycle, with your help, it looks like the Indiana Republican Party has set a new record for Republican Mayors state wide. Once again, we have proven that we when put in the work, and share our vision of putting people over politics, Hoosier voters react positively. Because of your efforts, some of our highlights this cycle include: - Flipping 14 mayor's offices to Republican; resulting in a record number of GOP mayors statewide at 76
- Angola - first Republican mayor in 32 years
- Massive victories in Hamilton County despite Democrats heavily investing in Carmel and Fishers
-
Greencastle - Elected a female and the first Republican mayor in 38 years
- Indianapolis - picked up a seat on the City-County Council
- Indiana Diversity Leadership Series - our three-year-old series saw SIX graduates on the ballot and featured historic wins by Ronald Morrell and Tiffanie Ditlevson
-
Madison - historic clean sweep of the council
- Marion - Republican pick-up and first black mayor in history
Thank you to all of our candidates, grassroots leaders and volunteers who have made this another successful election cycle for the Indiana GOP. Get a little bit of rest, and we hope to see you next week to officially kickoff our 2024 election efforts. Please plan on joining us on November 15th to celebrate all that we accomplished in 2023 and to jump start the 2024 election cycle. Details for our party next week can be found below.
