John, yesterday was Election Day, and after seeing last night’s results, I’m feeling optimistic.

Virginia just flipped their state legislature blue — and with Arizona having a similarly razor-thin Republican majority to beat, I know we can do the same next year.

Also last night, Ohioans turned out to enshrine abortion protections in their state constitution — another promising sign for us knowing that abortion will be on our ballot next year.

But last night’s results didn’t happen on a whim, John. Virginians and Ohioans put in months of work leading up to Election Day to spread awareness, get out the vote, and make these big wins possible.
