Every state — including Georgia — needs to introduce a nonpartisan redistricting commission to preserve the integrity of our electoral system.
Friend,
In a fair democracy, the will of the people is the law of the land.
But when politicians are allowed to carve up election maps, draw their own districts, and pick their voters, the integrity of democracy is compromised. That’s why we need to work together to end gerrymandering once and for all.
Every state — including Georgia — needs to introduce a nonpartisan redistricting commission to preserve the integrity of our electoral system.
Voters should be able to choose their own representatives — not the other way around. We’ve seen time and again how gerrymandering has hurt our state and states across the country. It’s time to sanction independent, nonpartisan committees to draw legislative districts, so everyone’s voice in Georgia holds equal weight.
Thanks for standing with me on this important issue.
Matt
