John,
Throughout this year, we have inspired many people to join our
national movement and to take action for positive change.
Yesterday, November 7, Election Day 2023, more than 20
Forwardists were on the ballot in Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey,
North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and
Virginia.
ALL of them were running for
state and local positions, with two on the ballot solely as Forward
Party candidates! Together we elected five new
Forwardists across three states:
-
Connecticut:
Danielle Chesebrough,
Stonington First Selectman
-
Maryland:
James Kole, Laurel
Councilman
-
Pennsylvania:
Seth Bluestein, Philadelphia
City Commissioner
-
Pennsylvania:
Chris Woodward, Lower
Heidelberg Twp Auditor
-
Pennsylvania:
Steve Zappala, Allegheny
District Attorney
With an
eye to next year’s critical elections, we are confident that together
we can elevate more fresh perspectives and independent voices that can
challenge the status quo and impact real change for their
communities.
We are
more motivated than ever after seeing the turnout and results for
ballot measures in states like Ohio, Michigan, Maine, and Kentucky.
It’s clear that when you take issues to the polls at the local level
people show up and speak against the nationalization of politics,
despite mainstream media’s best efforts to paint Americans as either
Red or Blue.
Yesterday’s results across the country are a sentiment for
exactly why we are building a new platform for those who want to serve
their communities and put their constituents above partisan
performance arts.
THANK YOU
for being a part of this long-term effort to heal our nation and
defend our Republic.
Not Left. Not Right.
Forward.
