Dear John,

One year ago today, I became the congresswoman-elect for Vermont’s at-large congressional district. This year has not been without its challenges, but this job is a tremendous honor, and I am so grateful to every single one of you. Click here to fuel my re-election campaign >>>

It’s been quite a year since November 8, 2022, and little did I know that this was just the beginning! From being sworn in as the first woman and first openly LGBTQ+ member of Congress from Vermont to standing up for trans kids in committee hearings and fighting like hell to protect our democracy, it’s been a whirlwind.

I made constituent services a top priority for my team and am proud to say that we have met with over 1,000 Vermonters. My team is focused on ensuring Vermonters have a voice in Congress, and that they have help when they need it most.

John, when we turn towards each other with love and hope in our hearts, we can do anything. We can change the way we do politics. And we can change our country. This team is proof of that.
