Hey Friend,
Sophia from Texas is fighting to make the future a place where everyone can live without fear, where future generations won’t have to worry about lockdown drills or being scared to come out as LGBTQ+. What’s the future you’re fighting for?
United We Dream is celebrating 15 years of resilience among immigrant visionaries who have paved the way for the future we want to build. Just last week, the 2023 UndocuSummit in New Mexico brought together leaders and allies from across the country to strategize and reclaim our power. From fostering spaces where we can come together in community to securing pro-immigrant victories at the local and national levels, immigrant youth have been at the forefront of our fight to create a future where we can all live in safety and dignity.
We want you to join us in unleashing our visionary power! Last week, I asked immigrant leaders and allies like you to share with us the vision of the future they’re fighting for. Here’s what they had to say:
“I want all undocumented students to get in-state tuition and get access to paid internships and fellowships, and not be limited to apply for any kind of jobs that they qualify for because of their status!!!”
-Rojina, California
“In my home state of Florida, I'm fighting for a future that embraces immigrants and members of the trans/queer community, including myself. I envision a welcoming environment where everyone has access to quality education, and securing housing is free from struggle or dependence on others.”
-Valentina, Florida
“A future where voting rights and reproductive rights are protected and not under constant attack.”
-Andrew, Michigan

In unity,
Anto and the rest of the United We Dream team
