Dear PPADMV Supporter,

Election after election across this country has confirmed that Americans overwhelmingly support access to abortion. Virginia voters have again spoken out for protecting abortion rights by electing pro-reproductive freedom majorities in both the House and Senate. This maintains Virginia as the southernmost state on the east coast without an abortion ban since the overturning of Roe v. Wade. 

Planned Parenthood Advocates for DC, Maryland & NoVa was proud to join our partners at Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia this election season to prove that when we fight, we win.

While we raise our voices in celebration of this crucial victory for reproductive freedom, we must also look to the future. We owe it to the voters of Virginia who made their voices heard, and to the millions of Americans living under the threat or reality of abortion bans, to build on the momentum of today’s success and carry it forward into the fights ahead.
