Trump is trying to destroy our cornerstone environmental law. Let’s stop him.
John,
The signs of climate chaos are everywhere. We all know that we need to take aggressive action to stop fossil fuels. But Trump is taking aggressive action in the opposite direction.
He’s recklessly proposing to gut the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), one of our most fundamental environmental laws, to make it easier to push through projects like pipelines and fracking wells.
Our house is on fire, and Trump is pouring on the gasoline. But Food & Water Action is fighting to stop him. With your help, there’s still time to kill this rollback before it’s finalized.
The Trump administration wants to erase a key provision of NEPA, which is one of the most important tools we have to fight climate change. If it succeeds, federal agencies would be banned from even discussing global warming when reviewing projects like the Keystone XL pipeline or fracking on public lands.
To stop this pending disaster, we’re raising a huge national uproar that will force Trump and his fossil fuel friends to back down. And if we have to, we’re also ready to fight Trump in the halls of Congress and in the courts.
If Trump’s EPA won’t stand up for us, we’ll stand up to them. With your support, we won’t back down.
Thousands of people have joined us to speak out. But with the comment period closing in just a few days, on March 10th, we need to double down. If we can finish with an undeniable amount of public support behind us, I know we can stop this rollback before it’s too late.
