The Pine Tree State just voted to ban foreign campaign contributions

John —

Voters in Maine just kicked foreign money out of their elections, and we’re celebrating!

Yesterday's election was a huge win for democracy. We're also celebrating major wins in Minnesota, where Minnetonka voters rejected a charter amendment to repeal Ranked Choice Voting, and in Michigan, where RCV passed in all three municipalities in which it was on the ballot!

We – RepresentUs supporters like you – worked our butts off this election cycle, hosting our biggest-ever text and phonebank events, calling and texting tens of thousands of voters. On Monday alone, we doubled our one-day call record, calling 13,000 people, and reaching hundreds of voters in Maine right before it was time to vote.

This is how our movement wins: city-by-city, state-by-state, assembling awesome people who are committed to putting country over party and fixing our broken political system.

Excited about all this winning? We are too. Here are a few ways you can help us keep it going:

Together we're fighting back against a corrupt political system that tries to drown out the voices of we the people.

Yesterday was a huge step forward in that effort, and it's thanks to the people who power our movement — you.
