We are officially less than one year out from the 2024 election.

Our work together over the next twelve months isn’t just about re-electing President Joe Biden and defending our DFL trifecta. It’s about protecting our very democracy and affirming our basic values as Americans. 

We’re not up against our parents’ Republican Party. This field of GOP candidates is the weirdest, most far-right, and most extreme I’ve seen in my lifetime. They’re bragging about banning books, attacking the LGBTQ+ community, championing atrocious 6-week abortion bans, and more. 

The Republican Party has fallen deeply out of step with a large majority of Americans. But even so, we have an extremely tough fight ahead of us.

Republicans are outraising Democrats across the country, and a recent poll from Emerson College shows Donald Trump and President Biden statistically tied in Minnesota.

If we’re going to avoid another 2016 and the four disastrous years that followed, we can’t afford to take our foot off the gas for one second. And that starts with keeping our budget on track.

My campaign team just informed me that we entered the one-year mark about $13,000 behind. We need to erase the deficit ASAP so our critical work can continue without any hiccups.
