Team,
I know all of us are following the recent coronavirus outbreak, particularly here in King County.
I want you to know that I'm diligently following it too, and fighting to make sure our public health experts in Washington and across the country have the resources they need to keep our families healthy.
A few very important reminders as we work through this outbreak:
Wash your hands -- thoroughly and with soap.
If you're sick, stay home and reach out to your healthcare provider. You should also visit the CDC website -- for those here in King County, you can also go here.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth unless you've just washed your hands.
Don't stigmatize those who are sick or of Asian descent.
I know I speak for all of us when I say how grateful I am for the frontline health care workers who are working tirelessly to protect and care for our families.
Thank you for your attention to this,
Pramila
