While in office, Adam, Kelly, Marcia and Mark fought tirelessly to ensure pro-equality legislation passed. Because of them, sexual orientation and gender identity are protected classes, anti-discrimination measures in housing and workplaces passed and they expanded hate crimes legislation! They banned conversion therapy - the first state in the U.S. South to do it - and passed legislation benefiting trans kids in schools. And we know Laura, Rozia and Adele will join them in protecting LGBTQ+ rights and the right to choose in Virginia.
We couldn't be more excited for them - and we know this is a sign of good things to come for Spotlight candidates Danica Roem and Joshua Cole. While we wait for more results, be sure to add your name to our congratulations card! [[link removed]]
