Friend, I’m excited to share the news that tonight, Ohioans stood up for freedom and passed Issue 1.

Ohioans have always stood for democracy and freedom. That’s why when extremist special interest groups came for our voting rights, we fought back. And that’s why when politicians tried to come between women and their ability to make personal healthcare choices, we stood up for freedom.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the countless grassroots volunteers who made calls, knocked doors, organized, and put it all on the line to protect our reproductive freedom. Thank you.

Tonight serves as a reminder of what is possible when working folks come together for a common goal. It was a people-powered team that defended freedom today, and it will be a people-powered team that delivers the Democratic Majority next November.

Tonight, we celebrate. Tomorrow, we get back to work fighting for children and families across Ohio.
