Folks — this weekend, I was honored to march alongside members of the LQGBTAI+ community and allies alike at the Palm Springs Pride Parade.
At a time of increasing attacks, violent rhetoric, and discrimination, it is more important than ever for all of us to form a unified front to stand with our LGBTQAI+ family, friends, and neighbors.
The new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, is a far-right extremist with abhorrent views rooted in bigotry:
❌He partnered with a hateful conversion therapy organization.
❌He wants to criminalize gay marriage and even criminalize homosexuality itself.
❌He seeks to empower the government to take trans children from parents that seek to find them gender-affirming care.
It’s beyond sickening that Mike Johnson is empowered to take his hate into the mainstream. But I’m fighting back – and I need you with me.
