Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin tried — and failed — to ban abortion after 15 weeks in the state, but couldn’t get it through a Democratic-controlled Senate. Now, he’s vowed to try again if Republicans take back the state legislature in just a few weeks.

Republicans are going all out to win in Virginia, even initiating a cyber attack against Susanna Gibson meant to shame and humiliate her by publicizing intimate details of her private life — all too familiar to what happened to Katie.

Today’s elections promise to be a bellwether for 2024, and show whether reproductive rights still hold the political weight needed to flip elections for Democrats.
